- I am a teacher in Des Moines, Iowa teacher 7th grade science. I have been a teacher of 4th and 5th graders, 7th and 8th grade science, 6-8th PE and computers. So I really like teaching through hands-on projects and integration of technology. I also enjoy coaching baseball, football, basketball, and track. My wife also works in Des Moines Public Schools. I have 4 kids, all boys. This keeps my very busy out of school during non-school times.

"Me" Powerpoint Presentation
Think back to the creation of your powerpoint presentation about yourself. Take your time, read these questions, and answer as completely as possible. Make sure to include you name in your answer. Your post will be read by me before it is viewable. So don't worry if you don't see your response. Again, make sure to include your name, otherwise I will have no record of who has posted and who has not!

I learned how to make it go by itself. I know that because I didn't know how now I do.
I think trying to add pictures got in the way!!
By the teacher letting us do it by our selves!!
I feel good because now I know how to do it!!
I liked the project it was really fun. When we are all finished we will find out alot about us.I want to do a project like this again.

I thought the powerpoint was pretty simple. I mean, I originally didn't know how do some of the stuff. But when I found it all out, than the project was super fun and easy. I liked attaching pictures because i thought it brought out some of the personality in me. I was glad that I could make the powerpoint so... "me". I feel great, and relieved now that it's done. I, myself, got in the way of my project times. I just love talking, so when I talked to others it not only prevented me, but the other student from being educated. I'm glad I learned how to make animations because it adds more effect to the presentation. I already knew how to do most of the requirements, but Mr. Surprenant really helped out when it came to the harder stuff. ~Autumn Fetters
I learned how to make it go on it's own. I know that because I didn't, now I do!! I think adding pictures got in the way of learning! I think the teacher not helping helped me learn! I feel good now that I'm done because I did good!!

i feel good that its done and over with. i learned that alot of things. the thing that got in the way of me learning is anthony cause he was bein so funny. listening to music helped me.

i think not as fun as you sed it was. it was ezey but i know i didn't do my best. i wish i could have had more time.i did good on my timing. the reason i didn't do so good is because the dumb person next to me.this is what i think.
i thought it was boring but intresting because i learn more thing about me.and ilearn more about computor.so it was half half.half interesting and i learn more about power points. i learn how to move it by itself and put pics on
I learned how a power point works.I allso learned how to put picters from google. my peers or the techer helped me learn . it was fun/cool
I learned how to put pictures on your power point, i know i learned that because the teacher had to show me how to. Not being able to figure stuff out.the teacher helping me.word art, clip art, and the display themes.I feel comfortable because i new how to use most of the stuff already.
I learned that making power points are easy.I know I learned because I made a power point. The things that got in the way of my learning were, when I didn't know how to do something. The person that helped my learning was Mr. Surprenant. Some uses for power points are, to use when you are in a business or something. I feel good that I know how to use a power point because, when ever I need to use one I know how to.
I learned how you can make a power point,also how to paste shapes on the power point. I know I learned because I know how to make a power point and how to present a power point. What got in the way of my learning was that everyone was talking. What helped me learn was that I kept asking people about and they were not listening and I also learned about my mistakes. Some uses for power points is to always have an idea of what you want it to look like. I feel that I know more about myself now that I am done.
I learned that it very important to keep you fingers on the home row keys and i know that because ever seens Iv been doing that i can be a way better and faster!!
The thing hat helped me most was knowing that if i just did it right that this call would be fun and easy!!
the olny thing that might have gotten in the way might have been that i kind of sit with my friends!!:)
Some uses for power points are that in work a lot of jobs do have to do the for documents and meetings.
I think doing power points are kind of fun because its like something thats easy and its way easyer then like writing a report or something like that.
